Had the boy's from Pittsburg out again. We hit the light's to try & get a Snook b/f getting bait. We had a few track the fly, but would not commit. We had very little tide. After we netted a livewell full of Pilchard's we headed offshore. Weather did not look to good, rain to the south & east. Around 11 the wind started changing direction the wind came up along w/rain. The fishing was just awesome, multiple double's & even a few triple's. We moved inshore & anchored to wait out the storm. It was alittle bumpy but the boy's got into more Albie's. After about a 1/2 hour it looked like we could go back offshore. So off the hook & back out & was it worth it. The fishing got even better had a Shark grab an Albie w/in 30 feet of the boat on the surface. It was the best Shark attack i've seen. Also had a Big Cuda grab an Albie. Most of the fish were double digit's biggest going 18#'s.
